A lot has happened since I last wrote. I had my operation on July 11th. It was a success. He found out what had caused all the pain in my foot for so long. He ended up taking a piece of scar tissue out with a fragment that was tangled really good in there. The fragment ended up being another nerve. So I am less two nerves and a bone spur for the 10 months I have been down. I also ended up getting sick the day of the operation but, I ended up still going through. Emerson was the one that got me sick. He started the beginning of the week. I guess that is what husbands are for. I ended up going to the doctors and found out that it was a combination of Broncitus and Allergies. Now that I have been on medication for this, I feel a little better and my voice had left me but has returned. I just got my stitches out yesterday. Everything looked good for the most part. There has been quite a bit of seeping of blood going on. Dr. Collins told me once I am through with my medication to keep an eye on it and if it increases then to call him. Other then that everything looks very well in deed. Things for the most part are still a little low key. We are really thinking that this might be the last one for sometime, we hope at least it is.
I ended up not getting pictures of the reunion and being with my parents but it was really fun. The rodeo was a blast to see and being up at the ranch was a blast as well. Having my parents here made it even more special. Dad did have his hard times while being here but he hung in there. He is a very big trooper. It was wonderful seeing some of my cousins, aunts, and uncles. Some of them I hadn't seen for sometime. I got talk one and one with some of them and friendship/relationship has come to the surface once again. It was a busy time while my parents were here. We were just hoping around for the most part but, we all took it easy at other times.
Emerson's mother ended up going into the hospital the day after my operation on the 12th with High Blood Pressure around 230. She didn't have a stroke but she ended up getting Bell's Palsy. She is out of the hospital and is doing good for the most part. She gave us a scare for the most part but, she hung in there and did good. On the 13th the phone was ringing off the hook and I couldn't even get a breath between each phone call wondering about JoLynn and also wondering how I as doing. Sleep for me has started happening again now that things have gotten a little better and slowed down. For the most part I hadn't slept very well.
Yesterday, I found out that a beloved doctor of mine had died. He was my OB GYN and who delivered me when I was a baby. Dr. Reiser and I had talked about delivering our first baby when I got to that point. Now when we get pregnant, it will not happen since he is gone. They still don't know what caused him to go other then, they think it has to do with his pacemaker that it gave out. I have been crying a lot since I was really close to this doctor. There is always another doctor that I know I think delivers children as well who is my family doctor. If I remember correctly he does and in that case he will be the one to do it.
This past Sunday we also had a Brown out. We had no power for four hours. In deed it was rough but we hung it out. A lot of people didn't stay in there apartments because of it being hot and humid in there. It was really hard to sleep at all until the electricity came back on. I guess what it all comes down to is that July has been rough and very busy for the most part. We are all doing good. My recovery is going good and parents got back home ok. Along with JoLynn is doing better. I am hoping August is a better month. That would be good for Emerson and I.
